Wildlife Road Crossings
In this webinar, we’ll dive into the science and planning of wildlife road crossings. First, we’ll look at the field science of road ecology and what we’ve learned from years of camera trapping along roads and inside/under bridges and culverts. We’ll also look at the computer models in Vermont Conservation Design to understand these concepts in a landscape context. Lastly, we’ll explore how Vermont towns are improving and planning for wildlife movement across local roads.
