To Our TU Chapter Members and Our Local Fishing Guides—
Please SAVE THE DATE for a combined Zoom meeting of our three local TU Chapters
(SW VT Battenkill, NW MA Deerfield River, and SE VT Connecticut River)
February 18 at 6:30 PM
This meeting is guaranteed to be an engaging evening in which each of our 3 TU chapters will have 15-20 minutes to update and have a Q&A with one another regarding each our chapter project accomplishments in improving local cold-water fisheries and the environment.
Each chapter will invite guides working in their region to join us—to provide our guides with an opportunity to HEAR firsthand what our TU chapters are doing to improve local fisheries which are our guides’ economic work place and the public’s recreational venue.
We would like to ask our guides to help out by 1) encouraging their clients to support TU by donating and/or by becoming a TU member in support of improved cold-water fisheries; and 2) helping in small, simple, easy ways with our TU projects, e.g., when asked by providing GPS coordinates, dates, and times for redds they observe while at work, etc.
Looking forward to seeing everyone on Thursday, February 19 at 6:30 PM!
TU CHAPTER PRESIDENT’S: Mike Vito Deerfield River Chapter; Erin Lyons Southwest Vermont; David Deen CT River Valley
