From May into July, thousands of migratory songbirds, including the Hermit Thrush, our state bird, fill Vermont’s woods with enchanting melodies. Join Audubon Vermont and the Vermont Land Trust for an beginner-level exploration of the Birders Dozen, twelve forest birds for which our woods serve as globally important habitat.
You will learn how to identify their songs and habitat needs as well as ways you can improve their foraging and nesting habitat.
