Backyard Woods Course

May 1^st – June 30^th, 2020

We are living through some challenging times and with many of us staying close to home to explore our backyards, the VT Urban & Community Forestry Program would like to offer free access to the Backyard Woods Course. This online course that is designed for homeowners with less than 25 acres who want to learn more about the woods in their backyard: what’s in it, who (wildlife) uses it, and how they can become better caretakers of it. As an introductory level course, it is designed to give homeowners basic skills and connect them to resources available.
